AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING CERTAIN TERRITORY AS ANNEXED TO THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on March 28, 1972, the Pulaski County Court approved
annexation of the following described lands to the City of Jacksonville, Pulaski
County, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, That:
SECTION 1. That the following described lands are hereby accepted
as annexed to the City of Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
Southeast Quarter (SC) of Section 21, Township 3 North,
Range 10 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of this
community and its citizens; that an emergency is hereby declared and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
