AN:ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 150, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
TO EMT AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

health, safety and morals of the citizens of the City of Jacksonville,
Arkansas, that all areas within the said city be free of garbage and
rubbish; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that rates be adjusted to provide
necessary city service to this end; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance Number 150 adopted certain rates which
are this time inequitable in light of additional costs;
NOW, THFDRE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TBE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
SECTION 1. That Section 2, Paragraph A, Schedule of Rates
1., 2., and 3., be and the same are hereby amended read as follows:
"1. Two and 50/100 ($2.50) Dollars for each single family
residence.
"2. Two and 50 /100 ($2.50) Dollars for each trailer space.
"3. Two and 50/100 ($2.50) Dollars for each residential
unit of each duplex and of each apartment building."
That all other sections and parts of the said Ordinance Number 150
are hereby ratified and confirmed as originally adopted.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances inconsistent with the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall be, and the same are herby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance Ding necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health, safety, welfare and
morals of the citizens of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and the above quoted rates
should go into full force and effect on the 1st day of July, 19f.
