AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE JACKSONVILLE
PLANNING COMMISSION RE- ZONING CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY
OF JACKSONVILLE, AND RE- ZONING THE CERTAIN AREAS AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Jacksonville ?3 anning Commission has sub -
mitted to the City Council a report of its recommendation that
certain areas within the city be re -zoned from Residential,
Class 1 to Commercial, Class 2; and
WHEREAS, the recommendation was made after due consideration,
due notice and public hearing as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the public health, welfare, morals and safety
of the citizens of Jacksonville will be protected, promoted and
benefited by the adoption of this Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:
Sectl.That the recommendations of the Jacksonville Planning
Commission, as set forth in a resolution entitled, "A
Resolution approving the rezoning of certain areas within the
City of Jacksonville, and recommending that the City Council
of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas accept such approval and
amend official zoning map to conform to such action."
Section 2. That the following described real property
within the City of Jacksonville, A be and the same is
hereby rezoned from Residential Class 1 to Commercial Class 2:
Start at the Southwest corner of Section Seventeen
(17), Township Three (3N) North, Range Ten (iOW)
West, thence north 1335 feet; thence East 26 feet
to the east right -of -way line of the New U. S.
Highway 67, and the point of beginning of this tract:
Thence North 46 57' East 679.5 feet along the said
right of way line to a marker indicating the .inter-
section of the New U. S. Highway 67 and the 01d U. S.
Highway 67; thence south 22 36' West 960.8 feet to
the centerline of said ditch in a northwesterly. direction
3[3 feet more or less to the east right -of -way line of
New U. S. Highway 67: thence North 34 52' East 225.0
feet to a marker; thence north 46 57 East 41.7 feet
to the point of beginning; and containing 3.7 acres,
more or less; all within the City of Jacksonville,
Arkansas.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk be and she is hereby
directed to file all necessary documents and instruments witch
the county recorder to effectually show this change in the
records of Pulaski County, Arkansas.

SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
