0738RESOLUTION NO, 738 (#04 - 2016) A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OFAND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SALE DOCUMENTS FROM THE CITY OFJACKSONVILLE FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN (GENERAL LOCATION - GENERAL SAMUELS & COMMERCE); AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES, WHEREAS, the real property described on the attached Exhibit A is industrial property owned by the City of Jacksonville; and, WHEREAS, because said property has received an acceptable Offer & Acceptance, with a Purchaser who shall construct and locate a supply business, it is in the City's best interests to sell said property. As a result, certain City officials must be authorized to develop and execute the appropriate and required documents for the purchase of City - owned property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFJACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT: SECTION ONE; The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, are hereby authorized to execute any and all purchase documents for the real property described in Exhibit A. The City Council recognizes and agrees that doing so will, hopefully, benefit both the business known as Arkansas Office Products and the City. The Council hereby authorizes Mayor Fletcher, City Clerk Davitt, and City Attorney Robert Bamburg to draft, execute, and complete the appropriate documents required to approve the purchase and sale of the property more particularly described in Exhibit A between the City and Arkansas Office Products, Corps.
