AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND ANNEXING; CERTAIN
TERRITORY IN SECTION 28, T-3 -N, R -1O-W, TO
THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE. AREANSABI A

WHEREAS, The Ailsold County Court has signed an order dated February 25, 1958. of the following
described lands subject to the acceptance by theCity Council of the City of Jaaksnnvillo, Ark—
ansas, as is provided by law.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT ORHAWED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY W JACRSATNIIJ.R, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described territory oontigucus to and adjoining the City
limits of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, is hereby annexed to and made a part of the
City of Jacksonville, Arkansas: la-wits
Beginning at a point on the Eastern City Limits of Jacksonville, said point
being 30 feet South or the North West Corner Section 28, Township 3 North,
Range 10 Westi thence East along the South Edge of Graham Road 1307 feet;
thence South 300 foot; thence West 977 feet; thence South 2352 foot; thence West
33 feet to the West Boumlary of Section 28 came being Eastern Boundary of
the City Limits of Jacksonville; thence North 2652 feet along City Limits
to a point of begiauing•
Those ]ands are node a part and parcel of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansan. and the in-
habitants residing therein shall have and enjoy all the rights and privileges of the Inhab-
itants of the original Limits of the City of Jacksonville, Arhmnsas•
SECTION 2. That the above described territory shall be end beoowe, and is hereby
declared to be a hart of dards 1 and 2 et' the Citg of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as fully as
any other part of srid Wards.
SECTION 3. WHEREAS, water and sewer facilities and fire protection are drastically
needed in the above described territory and, WHEREAS, these services cannot be rendered
until this ordinance goes into full force and effect and this ordinance being neeescary
for the preservation of the mace, health and safety of the inhabitants of the City at
Jacksonville. Arkansas, and those in the affected territory, an emargenoy is hereby
declared to exist and this ofdinaaee shall bo in full force and effect from and after its
paoeage and publication.
