AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING A FIVE MILL TAX ' -
AGAINST REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF JACXSONVIT.T.R, ARXANSAS, FOR THE TAX-
ABLE YEAR OF 1957e
SECTIO 1. That a tax of five (5) mills on the dollar is hereby
levied by the City Council of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas,
which is for the taxable year of 1957,
SECTION 2, That a certified :copy of this Ordinance be delivered
by the City Recorder to the County Clerk of Pulaski County whose
duty it shall be to extend said five (5) mills tax against all
Real and Personal Assessments made against property within the
corporate limits of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas,
SECTION 3. That an emergencg is declared to exist and that the
public health, prosperity and peace of mind will be served by
passage of this Ordinance to be in full force and effect from the
date of its passage and approval.
