AN ORDINANCE TO PE( THE SALARIES AND COMPENSATION
OF THE VARIOUS OFFICER OF 'HE CTTY OF JACTSOuVIT.LE,
PULASKI COINWY, ARRANSF. S. AND KR MUM PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAiw,ai BY THE Cr? COUNCIL OF JACKSOTVTTNR. ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Salaries schedule of the City Officials of the City of Jaolwonville, shall
be as follows:
Mayor - 4 50.00 per month
Reoorder - 25.00 per month
Treasurer - 25.00 per month
Aldermen - 25.00 per month*
*Aldermen will be paid on tho basis of their attendance at Regular Counoil Identings; thus,
412.50 per Regular Connell Sooting per month.
SECTION 2. That the above salaries shall take effect and become effective an the first
day of January 1957; and said salaries shall b- paid monthly, first payment being; made on
February 1, ].957 for salaries for January 19571 said salaries shall be paid from the
General Fund of the City of Jacksnnvi]Le, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. Beginning with the First Day of January, 1957, the City Officials of
Jacksonville, Arkans s, will start collecting salaries for their services.
SECTION I. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby re-
pealed. In order to promote and protect the public; health, prosperity and peace of mind,
an emergency is declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force immediately upon its passage ani approval.
