AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: NORWOOD
SUBDIVISION AT 10016 SOUTH HIGHWAY NO~ 161); AMENDING
ORDINANCES 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS;
AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE) ARKANSAS, THAT:

A tract of land in the North Half (Nl/2) of the
Northeast Quarter (NE1/4), Section One, Township Two
North, Range Eleven West, Jacksonville, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Section One,
proceed West 682.06 feet along the North line of said
Section One, to the Northwesterly right-of-way line of
Arkansas Highway 161 and the point of beginning; thence
South 53 degrees 01 minute 05 seconds West, 416.87 feet
along said right-af-way line; thence South 53 degrees 13
minutes 27 seconds West, 90.11 feet; thence leaving said
right-of-way, North 36 degrees 44 minutes 23 seconds
West, 247.96 feet; thence North 51 degrees 28 minutes 27
seconds East, 89~97 feet; thence North 51 degrees 17
minutes 10 seconds East, 79.91 feet to the North line of
Section One; thence East 420~77 feet to the point of
beginning; containing lN96 acres, more or less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-l
to C-l. (General Location: Norwood Subdivision at 10016
South Highway No. 161.)
SECTION TWO: The map referred to in Section No~ 601 of
Ordinance NOM 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance NON 238, and designated official zoning
map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes
provided for in Section One thereof.
