AN ORDINANCE MODIFYING THE JACKSONVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE
§.17.04.020 [JURISDICTION - SUBDIVISION REGULA TIONS]; ADOPTING
MODIFICATIONS TO THE CITY'S EXTRA TERRITORIAL PLANNING
JURISDICTION; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, amendments to Arkansas law and changes in development
situations surrounding the City limits provide the need to modify the City of
Jacksonville's Code provisions regarding Extra Territorial Planning Jurisdiction.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY
Comm 6F THE crTY &JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THA T.-
SECTION ONE. JMC § 17.04.020 (Jurisdiction — Subdivision
Regulations) is hereby modified to include the additions, amendments, deletions,
and modifications as specified below:
These regulations apply to all forms of planning, subdividing, and lot -splitting
as defined throughout this ode and are applicable to all lands within the City an
certain unincorporated areas of Pulaski County within a One (1) mile area beyond
the City limits.
SECTION TWO; All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION THREE.- Due to the needed modification of existing Code
provisions regarding Extra Territorial Planning Jurisdiction, there is need for
implementation of this Ordinance. As a result this Ordinance shall be in effect from
and after the date of passage, subject to anJ as provided by applicable law.
