ORDINANCE NO. 966 (#5-92)
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: PROPERTY BETWEEN
TRICKEY LANE, HIGHWAY NO. 161, AND MILITARY ROAD); AMENDING
ORDINANCES 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS;
AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following
property be and hereby is changed as indicated:
A tract of land in the NE1/4 NE1/4 of Section 31,
Township 3 North, Range 10 West, more particularly
described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest
corner of said NE1/4 NE1/4; thence East for 100 feet;
thence South for 20 feet to the Southerly right-of-way
of East Trickey Lane and the point of beginning; thence
South 89 degrees 59 minutes 30 seconds East along said
right-of-way of Trickey Lane for 64.92 feet; thence
South 89 degrees 58 minutes 43 seconds East along said
right-af-way of Trickey Lane for 94.00 feet; thence
South 0 degrees 03 minutes 04 seconds West for 150.04
feet; thence North 89 degrees 58 minutes 58 seconds West
for 93.64 feet; thence South 88 degrees 56 minutes 17
seconds West for 65.50 feet; thence North 02 degrees 12
minutes 49 seoonds East for 151.27 feet to the point of
beginning. Also known as Tracts D and E of a Survey
dated October 22, 1966 of the Spencer Estate.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-3
to C-3. (General Location: Property between Trickey Lane,
Highway No. 161, and Military Road~)
SECTION TWO: The map referred to in Section No. 601 of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning
map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes
provided for in Section One thereof.
