AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MASTER STREET PLAN FOR THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, AMENDING ORDINANCE 142 AND CHAPTER 12.04 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF JACKSONVILLE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACK-
SONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: Ordinance 142 and Chapter 12.04 of the
Municipal Code of Jacksonville is amended to read as follows:

12.04.010 Adopted.
"The Master Street Plan" as defined and set forth in the
Master Street Plan, Jacksonville, Arkansas, Prepared by Metro-
plan, A Council of Local Governments in June of 1979, is adopted
and enacted as the Master Street Plan for the City of Jack-
sonville as fully as if set out here in its entirety.
12.04 . 020 Filed.
Pursuant to Ark. Stat. Ann. 19-2421 (Repl. 1968) three (3)
copies of the Master Street Plan are on file at the Jacksonville
Municipal Clerk's Office for inspection and view by the public.
12.04.030 Variance.
Where conditions warrant, variances may be granted by the
Jacksonville Planning COuJluission to allow staged construction
of streets requiring wider than thirty-six foot pavement.
12.04.040 Recording.
A copy of the ordinance codified in this chapter together
with the map referred to herein shall be filed in the office of
the r'ecorder of Pulaski County as required by ASA S 19- 2828.
SECTION 2: All ordinances and codes conflicting with
this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
