AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY
OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS (GENERAL LOCATION: SOUTH JACK-
SONVILLE AREA- HWY 161 & BOROUGHS ROAD AREA); AMENDING
ORDINANCES NUMBER 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS: AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSON-
VILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The zone classification of the following
properties be and are hereby changed as indicated:
Part of the SEt of the SEt, Section 36, Township 3
North, Range 11 West, now in the City of Jacksonville,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described
as follows: Commence at the Southeast corner of Sec-
tion 36, run thence South89 degrees 30 minutes West,
677 feet to a point on the West right-of-way line of
Highway 161, which is the Point of Beginning; thence
run North 53 degrees 30 minutes East along said right-
of-way line 75 feet, thence North 40 degrees 23 minutes
West 193.5 feet; thence South 55 degrees 34 minutes
West 147.6 feet; thence South 33 degrees 59 minutes
East 137.95 feet; thence North 89 degrees 30 minutes
East 116.55 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing
0.6 acres, more or less.
The above property is hereby tezoned from R-O to C-3.
(General Location, South Jacksonville Area - Hwy 161
& Boroughs Road area.)
SECTION 2: That the map referred to in Section 601'of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning
map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes pro-
vided for in Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any_, ..~ . ~~
