RESOLUTION NO. 278 -81
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
REQUESTING THE ARKANSAS PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION REVOKE THE
FRANCHISE OF GENERAL TELEPHONE EXCHANGE IN JACKSONVILLE.
WHEREAS, the service charge by General Telephone Exchange
for telephones in Jacksonville is exorbitant for the service
provided;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of
Jacksonville goes on record requesting that the Arkansas Public
Service Commission revoke the franchise of General Telephone
Exchange in Jacksonville.
AND, BE IT RESOLVED, that a copy of the Resolution be
placed in the permanent records of the minutes of the City
Council of Jacksonville, Arkansas.
