RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE JACKSONVILLE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO
ESTABLISH A UTILITY LINE EXTENSION ACTIVITY IN THE H.U.D. SUNNYSIDE
REVITALIZATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville has secured a three year multi-
purpose comprehensive grant from the Department of Housing and Urban
Development for the Revitalization of the Sunnyside Hills Addition,
Cherry Street, Oak Street, and Laurel Street area; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development requires
the City of Jacksonville to have a written Citizens Participation Plan
delineating the citizens role in Community Development activities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville is in conformance with said
Plan by publicly announcing the addition of a utility line extension
activity in the Sunnyside Revitalization Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:
THAT the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Small Cities
Multi- Purpose Comprehensive Grant Sunnyside Revitalization Project
Activities be expanded to include utility line extension.
THAT the City Clerk be and hereby is directed to file this
Resolution in the official journal of the actions of the City.
THAT this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
