AN ORDINANCE ADDING PRECIOUS METALS DEALERS TO THE JACKSONVILLE
PRIVILEGE TAX SCHEDULE AND AMENDING CHAPTER 5.04 OF THE MUNICI-
PAL CODE OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, BY AMENDING SECTION 5.04.100,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Section 5.04.100 of the Municipal Code of Jack-
sonville, Arkansas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
ADD:
Precious Metals Dealers
$100.00 per day or $300.00
for one year at the option
of the purchaser
This subsection shall not apply if the person, firm or corpo-
ration pays a privilege license tax under another classification
set out in Section 5.04.100 of the Code of Ordinances, provided
the tax paid in for privilege of conducting a business, occupa-
tion or profession which routinely and customarily includes the
buying of precious metals.
SECTION 2. All ordinances in conflict with this ordinance
are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
