AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: NORTHSIDE CHURCH OF CHRIST, NORTH FIRST ST.,
AND HIGHWAY 161); AMENDING ORDINANCES NUMBER 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS: AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS,
THAT:
SECTION 1: The zone classification of the following properties be
and are hereby changed as indicated;
Part of the NW~ of Sec. 17, T3N, R10W, in Pulaski County, Arkansas,
more particularly described as fol18ws, to-wit: Starting at the NW
corner of said Sec. 17; thence N 89 141 23" E 316.01; thence S 00
561 2311W @60.0'; thence N 890 14' 23" E 805.0';

less to the point of beginning, said point being LRAFB boundary

distance of 77.371 to LRAFB boundary monument No.18, said monument
No. 18 being a point on the Westerly right of way 1 ine of Arkansas
State Highway No. 161; thence Northeasterly along said Westerly right
~oway line, a distance of 472.85 feet to an iron pin; thence South
78 111 18" West 210.621 to an iron pin; Being a point on the East
voundary of LRAFB Reservation; thence S 2 51' 42" ~Jest along a 1 ine
common to the LRAFB Reservation and the property herein described, a
distance of 386.81 to the point of beginning, containing 1.34 acres,
more or less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-O to C-I.

SECTION 2: That the map referred to in Section 601 of Ordinance No.
213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 23e,
and designated official zoning map, should be and hereby is amended to the
extent and in the respedts necessary to effect and designate the changes
provided for in Section 1, thereof,
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict.
