ORDINANCE NO. 679
AN ORDINANCE MAKING MOBILE HOMES UNLAWFUL IN SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS R-O AND R-l, ADDING ~18.24.070 TO THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: There is hereby added to the Municipal Code
of Jacksonville, Arkansas, ~18.24.070, which is to read as
follows:
18.24.070 Mobile Homes
It being determined that the intent of the Jacksonville
City Council in 1969 was to make it unlawful to place mobile
homes in R-O and R-l Districts; therefore the present City
Council hereby clarifies the definition of the term single-
family detached dwelling (~18.24.010) by declaring that a
single-family detached dwelling does not include a mobile home.
SECTION 2: All ordinances and codes conflicting with
this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
