RESOLUTION NO. 478 (12-95)
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENDORSEMENT BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, FOR WRIGHT'S CABINET
SHOP, INC.'S PARTICIPATION IN AND EXPANSION THROUGH THE
ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville has an approved zone
designation for Census Tract 36.04 within the corporate
limits of the City of Jacksonville; and,
WHEREAS, local government must endorse a business or
enterprise to participate or expand their participation in
the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program and benefit from
exemptions provided in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program
Regulations of 1993; and,
WHEREAS, Wright's Cabinet Shop, Inc. has been determined
by its management and the Jacksonville Enterprise Zone
Management Review Committee, together with the City
Industrial Research Development Committee to be appropriate
members of the program, and has agreed to furnish management
of the Enterprise Zone all necessary information for
compliance P of expansion of
their participation p pation in the program
due to their plans for expansion of their existing plant at
2600 Cory Drive, Jacksonville, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: Wright's Cabinet Shop, Inc. shall hereby
be endorsed by the City of Jacksonville for expansion of
their current participation to benefit from exemptions
provided in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations
of 1993.
SECTION TWO: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to approve the Certificate of Local Government
Endorsement for Wright's Cabinet Shop, Inc.
SECTION THREE: This Resolution shall be in effect from
and after its date of passage.
SECTION FOUR: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of
said conflict.
