0644 RESOLUTION NO. 644 ( #06 - 2010)
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE AGREEMENT AND APPROVAL OF THE CITY
OFJACKSONVILLETO PURCHASE LOT 96, TARA MOUNT SUBDIVISION, CITY
OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF AN EMERGENCY
INGRESS /EGRESS EASESMENT AND OTHER PUBLIC PURPOSES FOR
RESIDENTS OF THE AREA; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, for purposes of public ingress /egress easement and other public
purposes, it has been determined that the City should purchase Lot 96, Tara Mount
Subdivision, to grant an alternative easement for access to residents of the area; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville can purchase said lot from Capital Funds for
the purchase price of Nineteen Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars
($ 19,900.00), which is below the appraised value of said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The City grants its full support for the purchase of the
following described real property:
Lot 96, Tara Mount Subdivision, City of Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Property a /k/a #11 Delta Court, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076
Pulaski County Parcel No. 2230090009600.
The property shall be used for ingress /egress emergency access easement and for
other public purposes, and the purchase shall be funded from Capital Funds for an
amount not to exceed Nineteen Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($ 19,900.00).
SECTION TWO: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute all necessary and appropriate agreements and /or documents necessary to
complete said purchase and the property transfer instruments.

SECTION THREE: Any and all other Resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict. This Resolution shall be in effect from
and after its date of passage.
