ORDINANCE NO. 788
AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING A PORTION OF AN EASEMENT ON LOT 17 OF THE
GUY M. JOHNSON SUBDIVISION BY THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas has an easement
on the West side of Lot 17 of the Guy M. Johnson Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the property, Lindy Bollen, peti-
tioned the City Planning Commission for the abandonment of a por-
tion of said easement on Lot 17, Guy M. Johnson Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the request
for abandonment of the North 100 feet of the West 6 feet of Lot
17 of the Guy M. Johnson Subdivision at their meeting on June 10,
1985.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Jacksonville,
Arkans'as hereby abandons that portion of an easement consisting
of the North 100 feet of the West 6 feet on Lot 17 of the Guy M.
Johnson Subdivision.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such
conflict.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in effect on and after
the date of its approval and adoption.
