0525 RESOLUTION NO. 525 ( #1 - 2000)
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF THE CITY OFJACKSONVILLE TO
UTILIZE FEDERAL AID MONIES FOR THE HIGHWAY 161 SIDEWALK PROJECT; AND,
FOR OTHER PURPOSES,
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, understands Federal Aid Surface
Transportation Program Attributable Funds are available for certain city projects at the following
federal participating ratios:

Construction of City Preliminary Engineering by City -0- 100%

City Projects
Programmed (but not

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The City of Jacksonville will participate in accordance with its
designated responsibilities in this Highway 161 sidewalk project.
SECTION TWO: The Mayor or his designated representative is hereby authorized and
directed to execute all appropriate agreements and contracts necessary to expedite the
construction of the Highway 161 sidewalk project.
SECTION THREE: All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of said conflict.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 6 144 DAY OF JANUARY, 2000.
