0514 000111 5 RESOLUTION NO, 5.1-37#1 - 99) A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE OF VACATING AND CLOSING A PORTION OF BAILEY BOULEVARD, JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS (GENERAL LOCATION: BAILEY BOULEVARD NORTH OF PARRISH STREET); AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, owners of property adjoining a portion of Bailey Boulevard (that portion North of Parrish Street) have petitioned to have said public street /right -of -way abandoned and vacated by the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas; and, WHEREAS, the City Council and Planning Commission wish to obtain public input as to the closure of that portion of Bailey Boulevard North of Parrish Street. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT: SECTION ONE: A public hearing shall be held on Thursday, March 4, 1999, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, to address the issue of closing and vacating Bailey Boulevard (that portion lying immediately North of Parrish Street). Said public hearing shall be held during the regular City Council Meeting in the Council Chambers of the Jacksonville City Hall, #1 Municipal Drive, Jacksonville, Arkansas. SECTION TWO: The real property, more particularly described as follows is: That portion of the right -of -way beginning North of the Parrish Street right -of -way in a northerly direction to the Northeast corner of Lot 65, Heraldry Manor Subdivision, Phase IV, City of Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas. (GENERAL LOCATION: Bailey Boulevard immediately North of Parrish Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.) SECTION THREE: The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of said Public Hearing in a newspaper having general circulation within the City of Jacksonville a minimum of two (2) times, with the first publication being no later than fifteen (15) days before said Public Hearing.
