RESOLUTION NO. 512 (#8 - 98)
A RESOLUTION URGING SUPPORT AND ENDORSING THE PARTICIPATION OF TRIANGLE ENGINEERING OF
ARKANSAS, INC.'S PARTICIPATION IN THE ADVANTAGE ARKANSAS PROGRAM (FORMERLY THE
ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM • ACT 947 OF 1993); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, local government must endorse participation of a business in the Advantage Arkansas program
to benefit from the refunds/tax credits as provided in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1993;
WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on a specific form available from AEDC;
WHEREAS, Triangle Engineering of Arkansas, Inc., located at 1101 North Redmond Road, Jacksonville,
Arkansas, seeks to participate in the program. More specifically, Triangle Engineering has requested benefit accruing
from expansion and technological advancement of and to their specific facility; and
WHEREAS, Triangle Engineering of Arkansas, Inc. agrees to furnish the local government all necessary
information required for compliance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: Triangle Engineering of Arkansas, Inc. is hereby endorsed by the City Council of
the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, for participation in and benefits from the refunds/tax credits as provided in the
Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1993, through June 30, 2001.
' SECTION TWO: The Department of Finance and Administration be authorized to refund local sales
and use taxes to Triangle Engineering of Arkansas, Inc.
SECTION THREE: Any and all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of said conflict.
SECTION FOUR: This Resolution shall have full force and effect immediately after its passage. fr)
