AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: A PARCEL OF LAND
ADJOINING 1208 MILITARY ROAD ON THE EAST SIDE); AMENDING
ORDINANCES NUMBER 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The zone classification of the following pro-
perty be and is hereby changed as indicated:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Part of the West V2 of the SEV4 of Section 29, T-3-N, R-10-W
Pulaski County, Arkansas and being more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at a railroad spike for the SW corner of said
West V2, SEV4 of Section 29, T-3-N, R-10-W,; thence North 10
05' West 176.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence con-
tinuing North 10 05' West, 480.70 feet; thence North 880
22' East, 250.0 feet; thence South 10 05' East 620.29 feet
to a point on the North right-of-way line of Old Military
Road; thence South 880 43' 48" West 120.0 feet along said
North right-of-way line of Old Military Road; thence South
880 43' 48" West, 120.0 feet along said North right-of-way
line; thence North 10 05' West 138.0 feet; thence South 880
43' 48" West 130.0 feet to the point of beginning and con-
taining 3.14 acres more or less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-1 to R-4
(General Location: A parcel of land adjoining 1208 Miliary Road
on the East side).
SECTION 2: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning map,
should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the respects
necessary to effect and designate the changes provided for in
Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such
conflict.
