ORDINANCE NO. 769
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: TONEYVILLE SUB-
DIVISION); AMENDING ORDINANCES NUMBER 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY
OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The zone classification of the following pro-
perty be and is hereby changed as indicated:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Part of the SE~ of the SW~ of Section 8, T-3-N, R-10-W,
Pulaski County, Arkansas and being more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the NE corner of said SE~ of the SW~ of
Section 8, T-3-N, R-IO-W; thence South 20 43' 00" West,
293.00 feet along the East line of said SE~, SW~, Sec-
tion 8 to a #4 rebar set for the Point of Beginning;
thence continuing South 20 43' 00" West 230.00 feet
along said East line to a #4 rebar set; thence North
880 14' 52," West 257.76 feet to a #4 rebar set; thence
South 30 34' 27" West 150.05 feet to a #4 rebar set;
thence North 880 14' 52" West, 569.87 feet to a #4
rebar set on the East right-of-way of Old Highway 67-
167; thence North 150 51' 57" East, 391.77 feet along
said East right-of-way to a #4 rebar set; thence
South 880 14' 52" East, 740.75 feet to the Point of
Beginning and containing 5.958 acres more or less.
Basis for bearings is the East line of said SE~, SW~
of Section 8 as described on survey plat by George
West dated May 22, 1969.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-1 to
R-2 (General Loc~tion: Toneyville Subdivision).
SECTION 2: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning
map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided
for in Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any
such conflict.
