0436 RESOLUTION NO. 436 (#4-91)
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 435 OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, REGARDING CERTIFICATION
OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE
ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville has an approved zone
designation for Census Tracts 36.04, 36.05, and 36.06 within
the corporate limits of the City of Jacksonville; and,
WHEREAS, local government must endorse a business or
enterprise for participation in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone
Program in order for the business to benefit from exemptions
provided in Fart IV of the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program
Regulations of 1983, with said endorsement made on specific
form(s) provided by AIDC; and,
WHEREAS, Triangle Engineering of Arkansas, Inc., Wright's
Cabinets, Inc., and J & J Metals, Inc. have been determined by
the management of the Enterprise Zone to he appropriate
applicants for the program; and,
WHEREAS, Triangle Engineering of Arkansas, Inc., Wright's
Cabinets, Inc., and J & J Metals, Inc. have agreed to furnish
management of the Enterprise Zone all necessary information
for compliance and entry into the program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: Triangle Engineering of Arkansas, Inc.,
Wright's Cabinet, Inc., and J & J Metals, Inc. shall hereby be
endorsed by the City of Jacksonville for benefit from exemp-
tions provided in Part. IV of the Arkansas Enterprise Zone
Program Regulations of 1983.
SECTION TWO: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to approve the Certificates of Local Government
Endorsement.
SECTION THREE: This Resolution shall be in effect from
and after its date of passage.
SECTION FOUR: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of
said conflict.
