AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: ACREAGE NORTHWEST
OF SCENIC BLUFF ESTATES); AMENDING ORDINANCES NUMBER 213 AND
238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The zone classification of the following property
be and is hereby changed as indicated:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Part of the Northwest Quarter (NW~) of Section 22,
Township 3 North, Range 11 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, being more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Section 22,
T-3-N, R-II-W; thence SOlo 28' 31" W, 515.45 feet
to the point of beginning, said point being on the
southeasterly right of way line of Arkansas State
Highway No. l07; thence N 700 52' 08" E along said
southeasterly right of way line, 11.43 feet; thence
along said southeasterly right of way line along a
curve to the left (.A = 200 12' 13", R = 1055.0') a
chord bearing and distance of N 600 46' 01" E,
370.09'; thence N 390 20' 06" W along said right of way
line, 50.0 feet; thence along said right of way along
a curve to the left (.6. = 03016' 20", R = 1005.0') a
chord bearing and distance of N 490 01' 45" E, 57.39
feet to the southwesterly right of way line of
General Samuels Road; thence S 490 48' 55" E, along
said right of way line, 440.0 feet; thence S 520 14'
31" W, 410.00 feet; thence S 670 05' 44" W, 400.0 feet;
thence NOlo 28' 31" E, along the west line of said

Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described
as beginning at the intersection of the South right of
way line of General Samuels Road and the East right
of way line of State Highway 107; thence in a south-
easterly direction along the south right of way line
of General Samuels Road for a distance of 300 feet;
thence S 600 46' 01" W, for a distance of 300 feet;
thence N 490 48' 55" W, to a point on .the east right
of way line of State Highway No. 107; thence N 600 46'
10" E, along the east right of way line of state
Highway No. 107 to a set iron pin; thence N 390 20'
06" W, 50 feet; thence N 490 01' 44" E, 57.39 feet to
the point of beginning: Containing 1.79 acres, more
or less.
Remaining Tract containing 3.85 acres, more or less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-O to
R-3 (General location: Acreage Northwest of Scenic Bluff
Estates) .

SECTION 2: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning
map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided
for in Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any such
conflict.
