AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: AREA SOUTHWEST
CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF SOUTH REDMOND ROAD & U.S. HWY 67);
AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 213 and 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECITON 1: The zone of classification of the following
properties be and are hereby changes as indicated:
Part of the Southeast Quarter (SE~) of Northeast Quarter
(NE~), Section 25, Township 3 North, Range 11 West,
Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas, being more
particularly described as follows:
Commence at the SE corner of Lot 20, Block 3, of the
w. W. Keaton Second Addition to the City of Jacksonville,
Arkansas; thence S 340 14' W, 150.0 feet to the south
right-of-way line of Redmond Road; thence N 550 49' W, along
said south right-of-way line, 311.0 feet to the point of
beginning; thence S 340 13' W, 253.62 feet; thence S 120
21' E, 70.80 feet; thence N 810 55' W, 370.40 feet to the
easterly right-of-way line of U.S. Highway 67-167; thence
N 250 24' E, along said right-of-way line 470.80 feet tothe
south right-of-way line of Redmond Road; thence S 550 49' E,
along the said right-of-way line, 353.26 feet to the point
of beginning: containing 2.99 acres, more or less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from R-5 to R-3
(General Location: Area Southwest corner of the intersection of
South Redmond Road & U.S. Hwy 67).
SECTION 2: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning
map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided
for in Section 1, thereof.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any
such conflict.
