AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE DRAINAGE EASEMENT GRANTED TO THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE ON NOVEMBER 3, 1983, BY VOLA DENNIS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS" a petition was duly filed with the City Council of
the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, on the 1st day of December
1983, asking the City Council to vacate and abandon the drainage
easement now appearing oti record as Instrument No. 83-56975,
in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County;
WHEREAS, the Council has heard all persons desiring to be
heard on the question and has ascertained that the Easeme~t,
hereinbefore described, has not been actually used by the public,
and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely af-
fected by the abandonment of such Easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City of Jacksonvil1e, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with
the rights of the public generally, in and to the drainage
easement designated as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 221
of East Hickman & McConnell Addition and
thence North 620 West approximately 540 feet
to the Southeast Corner of Lot 108 of Hickman
and McConnell Addition. This being the center
line of a 25-foot easement, 12~ feet either side
of this line for the purpose of drainage.
SECTION 2: A copy of the Ordinance duly certified by the
City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of
pulaski County and recorded in the deed records of the County.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

EFFECTIVE DATE: JANUARY 1, 1984,
