RESOLUTION NO. 406 ( #15 -88)
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR AND COMMENDING THE
EFFORTS OF COMMISSIONER F. COY KELLEY DURING HIS SERVICE ON THE
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE JACKSONVILLE HOUSING AUTHORITY;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the members of the Board of Commissioners of the
Jacksonville Housing Authority of the City of Jacksonville,
Arkansas, have enjoyed excellent leadership; and,
WHEREAS, Commissioner F. Coy Kelley exemplified the neces-
sary dedication and determination to serve as friend, consultant,
and guide to all whom he represented, during his years of service
on the Board from March, 1984 through October, 1988; and,
WHEREAS, his love for the community is evident by his
volunteer efforts to improve the quality and quantity of safe,
sanitary, and comfortable housing for low income families and
persons who are elderly, handicapped, or disabled.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: That the Jacksonville Housing Authority
Commission does hereby acknowledge its debt and express the grati-
tude of all the citizens to F. Coy Kelley upon his departure from
the Jacksonville Housing Authority of Jacksonville.
SECTION TWO: This Resolution shall be in effect from and
after its date of passage.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS FIFTEENTH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1988.
