0392 RESOLUTION NO. 3 9 2 ( #1 - 88) A RESOLUTION DEDICATING THE JACKSONVILLE WASTEWATER UTILITY TREATMENT FACILITY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, after many years of effort and hard work, the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, is the owner of a Twelve Million Dollar ($12,000,000.00) wastewater treatment facility which is capable of providing service to both Jacksonville and area resi- dents; and, WHEREAS, without the efforts and - determination of Dr. J. Albert Johnson, Chairman of the Jacksonville Sewer Commission, said plant may not have become today's reality, and, because of his unselfish efforts and devotion to the project, the Jacksonville Sewer Commission voted unanimously to recommend that the facility be named in his honor. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT: SECTION ONE: The new Jacksonville Wastewater Utility treatment facility is hereby dedicated and shall be known as The Dr. J. Albert Johnson Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility. The Jacksonville Sewer Commission is hereby directed to erect a plaque dedicating the facility as such. SECTION TWO: All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict. SECTION THREE: This Resolution shall be in effect from and after its date of passage. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 214t DAY OF January 1988.
