ORDINANCE NO. 824 (15-86)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 542 BY IMPOSING CRIMINAL SANCTIONS
FOR VIOLATION OF THE PURCHASING PROCEDURES AS SET OUT IN SAID
ORDINANCE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 542, codified as Chapter 3.08,
Purchasing Procedure, shall be amended by adding the following
section:
"3.08.060. Violation of procudure constitutes Misdemeanor.
The Mayor or any department head who violates this procedure shall
be quilty of a low misdeameanor offense and if convicted, shall be
assessed a fine of not less than $25.00 nor more than $250.00 for
each violation of the purchasing procedure.1I
SECTION 2. All ordinances or codes conflicting with this
ordinance are hereby repealed or amended to the extent of such
conflict.
