0812 A~i" ORDINANCE NO. 812 (#3-86) AN ORDINANCE REZONING THAT PORTION OF THE BILL SHINN SUBDIVISION BETWEEN JOHN HARDEN DRIVE AND GREGORY STREET FROM R-O to C-3 EXCEPT FOR THE WESTERLY NINETY FEET AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, a request has been made to approve a rezoning of that portion of the Bill Shinn Subdivision which runs between John Harden Drive and Gregory Street from R-O to C-3 except for the westerly 90 feet for the purpose of developing a motel and restaurant on that property; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the rezoning request on the condition that a bond be posted in reference to an 8 foot privacy fence to be constructed on the westerly 90 feet line and that the property remaining R-O be cleared and properly maintained by the owner of said property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED ay THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT: SECTION 1: The portion of the Bill Shinn Subdivision which runs between John Harden Drive and Gregory Street shall be rezoned from its present classification of R-O to the classifica- tion of C-3 with the exception of the westerly 90 feet which shall remain R-O. SECTION 2: Any ordinance or resolution in conflict is hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect on and after its date of approval and adoption. APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th DAY OF JANUARY 1986.
