AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, (GENERAL LOCATION: EASTVIEW ADDITION - CORNER OF STONE
STREET, SCHOOL DRIVE, ,AND SOUTH JAMES STREET); AMENDING ORDINANCES
NUMBERS 213 AND 238 OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND,
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following
property be and hereby is changed as indicated:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Part of the Southwest Quarter (SWV4) of the Northwest
Quarter (NWV4), Section 30, Township 3 North, Range 10
West, in the City of Jacksonville, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 5, Eastview
Addition, Phase II; thence N 750 00' E, on the South
right-of-way line of Stone Street, 176.90 feet to the
intersection with the South right-of-way of School
Drive; thence S 400 00' E along said South right-of-way
line of School Drive, 187.40 feet to the West right-of-way
of South James Street; thence South on said West right-
of-way line of South James Street, 196.90 feet to the
North right-of-way line of Eastview Drive; thence West
on said North right-of-way line of Eastview Drive, 254.60
feet; thence continuing along said North right-of-way,
S 890 00' W, 43.80 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot
6 of Eastview Addition, Phase III; thence N 040 00' E,
146.20 feet; thence N 020 00' W, 149.50 feet to the
point of beginning: Containing 1.99 acres, more or less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from C-2 to C-3.
(General Location: Eastview Addition - Corner of Stone Street,
School Drive, and South James Street).
SECTION TWO: That the map referred to in Section 601 of
Ordinance No. 213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as
amended by Ordinance No. 238, and designated official zoning map,
should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the respects
necessary to effect and designate the changes provided for in
Section One thereof.
SECTION THREE: That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of any
such conflict.
