SECiION ONE: It is hereby declared that Ordinance Number

SEC~ION ~WO: Section ~wo of said Ordinance Number 893 is
hereby am'erided'-'E"o read as follows:
"~he sale, furnishing, transmission and distribution of the
telephone service by Southwestern Bell ~elephone Company
within the City is hereby declared to be a special privi-
lege and for such privilege the Southwestern Bell ~elephone
Company shall pay to the City an assessment amounting to
four and one-fourth percent (4.25%) of the access line
revenues collected from all Southwestern Bell ~elephone
Company customers located within the corporate limits of
the City of Jacksonville.
~hese payments shall begin on February 1, 1989, and on the
first day of each month thereafter, based upon the previous
month consumption of all customers within the corporate
limits of the City of Jacksonville.
payments shall continue in succeeding years in the same manner as
described unless sooner modified."
SEC~ION ~HREE: In all other respects, said Ordinance shall
remain ~nchang~a.
SEC~I2N_~QQ~: All Ordinances and/or parts of Ordinances
in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby
repealed to the extent of said conflict.
SEC~ION FIVE: ~his Ordinance shall be in full force and
