WHEREAS, Rivercity Hydraulics, Inc. of North Little
Rock, Arkansas, is a contractor specializing in street
sweE~per repairs arid is tlle alltrlorized local service
representati've and :parts sU-1)plier" for Tynlco. A.n effort to
obtain bids from other contractors did not render additional
bids or interests in said repairs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY" THE C.rTY~ COUNC.rL OF THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS;, THAT:
SECTION ONE: Competi ti Vl~ bidd,ing for the purpose of
repairirlg tIle City's street sweeper WOlllcl be costly, nOD.--
productive, and time consuming, making said competitive
bidding unfeasible and impractical.

SECTION TWO: Competitive bidding is hereby waived,
pursua11t to ACA 14-58-~ / for trle pl1rpose of repa.irillg the
City's street sweeper. Authorization is given to the
Jacksonville street Department to enter into a contract with
Rivercity Hydrall1icsj Inc. f Nortll Little Rock, Ar].{ansas, to
provide tIle need,f=d repair vJork for a total SUln of Seven
Thousand Nine Hund.red Eig'l1ty-fou,r Dollars ($7,984.00)/ plus
sales tax.
