AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS (GENERAL LOCATION; TRACT OF LAND OFF THE 1800-2300 BLOCKS
OF GENERAL SAMUELS); AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 213 AND 238 AND THE
LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND, FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT -
SECTION ONE.- The zone classification of the following property be and
hereby is changed as indicated below:
Part of the South 1/2 of Section 13, T3N, R11W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the SW corner of Section 13, T -3-N, R -11-W; thence S 88019'40" E, 1292.23'
to the centerline of Redmond Road; thence N 0112'29" E 1648.61' along the centerline of
Redmond Road; thence S 88141'35" E, 942.46' along the South right of way line of General
Samuels Road and the Point of Beginning; thence East along said South right of way line
2418.23'; thence South 384.59' to the Jacksonville Water Tower property line; thence S
8416' W, 89.63' to said property's NW corner; thence Southerly 171.36' along the West
property line; Continuing Southerly along the adjacent property lines 203.35' to the North
Right of Way of Swift Drive; thence West along said Right of Way 911.34'; thence South 60'
to the NW corner of Lot 1, CMC Industrial Subdivision; thence S 6036'20" E, 438.2'; thence
West 1,566.42' to the East Right of Way of the City of Jacksonville Railroad; thence North
along said Right of Way 410'; thence East 100.55'; thence North 842.53' to the South Right
of Way of General Samuels Road and the Point of Beginning. Containing 58.45 acres, more
or less.
Said property is hereby rezoned from classification M-1 to C-1 (General Location: Tract of
land off the 1800-2300 blocks of General Samuels, Jacksonville, Arkansas).

SECTION TWO. The map referred in Ordinance No. 213 of the City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238 and designated as the official
Zoning Map and Land Use Map, should be hereby is amended to the extent and in the
respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided for in Section One hereof.
SECTION THREE. All Ordinances and Resolutions or parts thereof in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

SECTION FOUR; This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its date of passage, as subject to and mandated by applicable law.
