AN ORDINANCE CONDEMNING STRUCTURES AND REAL PROPERTY AT
VARIOUS UNINHABITED LOCATIONS LISTED BELOW IN JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS, FOR STRUCTURAL DEFECT~ DEFICIENCIE~ AND PUBLIC
HAZARD CONDITIONS; DECLARING AN t'MERGENCY; AND, FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.

deteriorated elements so as to e iminate Jublic lea th and safety lazards and bring
t le property and its improvements into comp iance wit 1 t le provisions of t le
Jac <sonvi e Municipal Code.
NOf!VJ THEREFOR~ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLt, ARKANSAS:
SECTION ONE: In accordance with ACA 914-56-201 et. al. and
Jac<sonvi e Municipal Code 98.28.010 et. seq., tle a Jove mentionec structures anc
real proRerties isted above and ocated at the property addresses stated a Jove are
lereby dec ared to eac 1 constitute a separate nuisance to t le lealt 1 and safety of
the citizens of Jacksonville and are hereby condemned.
The City Council hereby directs the Code Enforcement Office to provide
notice to the pro Jerty owners and all other interested parties (mortgagors -if
a J Jlicable-) that, If said structures and real Jro Jerty are not repaired andlor tlie
lea t 1 and safety hazards removec from saidJrO Jerty so as to Jring t le propertY
into com) iance with the Jrovisions of Jac <sonvl e Vlunlcipal Code wit lin ninety (90)
cays from t le date of passage of t lis Ordinance, t le structures and improvements
on said rea property cited above wi Je c eared and razed. All structures and
nuisances s la Je removed so as to e iminate any lea t 1 or safety hazards to the
general public, and the cost for doing so shall be assessed against the owner(s) of
said property.

complete the necessar" removal of lazarc ous conditions from the real Jroperties
in question, the City wit t_len fLe a ien against the respective rea property invoved
for collection of all reasona J e costs incurred to undertake and complete the
removal of said hazardous conditions on t lat property and authorize Cit\/ officia's
to request said amounts be collected by the Puraskl County Tax Collector s.lould the
owners fail to timely pay said fees and amounts due.
SECTION THREE: S 10U d any Rart{s) of tlis Ordinance be declared invalid
for any reason, no other part(s) of the Ordinance shall be affected thereby.
