0277 RESOLUTION NO. 277 - 81
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A SIX INCH WATER LINE TO BE LAID UNDER THE MISSOURI
PACIFIC TRACKS.
WHEREAS, the City of Jacksonville desires that a six inch
water line be laid under the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company's
tracks and the right -of -way in the Southwest Quarter (SW of
Section 30, Township 3 North, Range 10 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, at Jacksonville (Mile Post 333.21); and
WHEREAS, the Missouri Pacific Railroad Company requires a
contract to cover such construction;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor is authorized
to enter into a contract with Missouri Pacific Railroad Company
to construct the above mentioned six inch water line.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be
placed in the permanent records of the minutes of the City
Council of Jacksonville, Arkansas.
