VARIANCE(S): Side Yard Setback & Sign Variance 1815 North First Street
The public hearing opened at approximately 6:03 p.m.
Project Manager Eric Ezell stated he is representing Wilson Enterprises. He explained the setback variance is for a drive thru canopy where they will have a single order point that will
flare into two food pickup lanes. He mentioned using the existing sign on First Street and will place another on the side facing the freeway. He brought up that they are keeping the
old Hardee’s building, but will remodel the inside. He told how he retired from the Air Force here and will be keeping the City of Jacksonville seal and C-130 mural on the walls. He
confirmed the inside occupancy is 67, surmising the project will be complete by November 8th.
City Clerk Davitt related no one has called opposing the variances and the City does not have a problem with this request.
The public hearing closed at approximately 6:06 p.m.
Commissioner Ruple moved, seconded by Commissioner Montgomery to approve a side yard setback and a sign variance at 1815 North First Street as presented. MOTION CARRIED.
