ORDINANCE NO, 1459 (#21 - 12)
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS (GENERAL LOCATION: 1701 GENERAL
SAMUELS); AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBERS 213 AND 238 AND THE
LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS;AND, FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED A N D ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL O F THE CITY
OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following property be and
hereby is changed as indicated below:
A part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 11 West,
and a part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 3 North, Range 10
West, of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Pulaski County, Arkansas being more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of Section 18, Township 3 North, Range 10
West, thence North 09 degrees 08 minutes 00 second East a distance of 45.27 feet
to an existing 1/2" rebar in a 3" pipe with concrete; thence North 09 degrees 34
minutes East a distance 366.06 feet to the point of beginning; thence continue
North 09 degrees 07 minutes 34 seconds East and distance of 295.00 feet to an
existing 1/2"rebar; thence North 88 degrees 28 minutes 00 seconds West a distance
of 756.45 feet (756.35 feet deeded) to an existing 1/2" rebar; thence South 01
degrees 51 minutes 11 seconds West a distance of 298.00 feet to a point; thence
South 88 degrees 54 minutes 41 seconds East a distance of 719.15 feet returning to
the point of beginning, containing 5.00 acres more or less.

Said property is hereby rezoned from classification M-2 to C-2. (General Location:
1701 General Samuels Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas).
SECTION TWO: The map referred to in Section No. 601 of Ordinance No.
213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238 and
designated as the official Zoning Map and Land Use Map, should be and hereby is
amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section One hereof.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and publication, as provided by and subject to the requirements of
applicable law.
