0817RESOLUTION NO. 817 (#02- 2022) A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SALE DOCUMENTS BY THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN (GENERAL LOCATION — 613/615 N BAILEY STREET); AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the real property is described on the attached Exhibit A; and, WHEREAS, because said property is necessary to extend Splash Zone, certain City officials must be authorized to execute the appropriate and required documents for the purchase of City -owned property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT: SECTION ONE: The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, are hereby authorized to execute any and all purchase documents for the real property described in Exhibit A. The City Council recognizes and agrees that doing so will benefit the City through the expansion of Splash Zone, located at 201 W Martin Street. The Council hereby authorizes Mayor Johnson, City Clerk Davitt, and City Attorney Friedman to execute and complete the appropriate documents required to approve the purchase and sale of the properties more particularly described in Exhibit A between the City and Grantors. SECTION TWO: Any and all other Resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict. This Resolution shall be in effect from and after its date of passage.
