CORRECTION AND/OR APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
PUBLIC HEARING(S): REZONING 4900 & 4800 T.P. White Drive to C-4
Petitioner AHRJP Development
Chairman Stroud opened the public hearing at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Mr. Aaron Robinson of Bond Engineering related that this was reviewed
by the Planning Commission last month as site plans and a final plat.
He noted that this is the only piece of property north of the creek
that is zoned residential not commercial. He stated they are cleaning
it up and asking for a rezoning to commercial.
With no one to speak in opposition, Chairman Stroud closed the public
hearing at approximately 6:33 p.m.
Public Works Director Jim Oakley stated that he is not sure why the
property was zoned residential when it was originally annexed, adding
that it would be appropriate for it to be zoned commercial.
Council Member Dietz moved, seconded by Council Member Hall to approve
the rezoning of 4900 & 4800 T.P. White Drive to C-4. MOTION CARRIED.
REQUEST TO APPROVE PLAT(S): FINAL PLAT Bollen Commercial Subdivision
Commissioner Bollen recused himself from the Commission for this item
of business.
Mr. Aaron Robinson of Bond Engineering related this a piece of
property with two buildings consisting of two lots at the corner of
Braden Street and Marshall Road. He stated that one tract has the
dentist office and the other tract has where Dr. Fewell has his
practice, perpendicular to Braden Street. He stated that this will
clean that corner up by putting both buildings on one platted piece of
property, noting that currently it is all metes and bounds described
property.
Public Works Director Jim Oakley stated that the City is not in
opposition and agrees it would be beneficial to have the property
platted.
