1664ORDINANCE NO. 1664 (#14-2021)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING JACKSONVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE § 8.20.090,
TEMPORARILY CLOSING THE JACKSONVILLE RECYCLING CENTER; AND,
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas has determined it
is in the City's best interest to temporarily cease the recycling services offered to Jacksonville
citizens and close the Jacksonville Recycling Center until January 1, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION ONE: The Jacksonville Recycling Center, located at 1300 Marshall
Road, shall hereby be closed and recycling operations shall cease until January 1, 2022.
SECTION TWO: Should any part(s) of this Ordinance be declared invalid for any
reason, no other part(s) of the Ordinance shall be affected thereby.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
