ORDINANCE NO. 1658 (#08 - 2021)
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE,
ARKANSAS; AMENDING ORDINANCE NOS. 213 AND 238 AND THE LAND USE MAP
OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND,
FOR OTHER PURPOSES. [GENERAL LOCATION: 321 NORTH OAK STREET]
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following property be and hereby is
changed as indicated below:
Legal Description:
PARTS OF LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 2, AND WEST HALF OF STONE STREET OF
GALLOWAY'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, T -3-N, R -10-W,
PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 2 OF GALLOWAY'S
SUBDIVISION, JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 80,
PAGE, 130 IN THE RECORDS OF THE PULASKI COUNTY CIRCUIT CLERK;
THENCE N43°38'34"E, 1:66 FEET; THENCE N58°59'36"E, 58.09 FEET; THENCE
N50°37'38"E, 72.71 FEET; THENCE 546°20' 18"E, 125.78 FEET; THENCE S43°38'34"W,
130.00 FEET; THENCE N46°20'18"W, 150.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING,
CONTAINING 0.405 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.
Said real property is hereby rezoned from Zoning Classification R-1 to R-3.
SECTION TWO: The map referred in Ordinance No. 213 of the City of
Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238 and designated as the official Zoning and
Land Use Map, should be and hereby is amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect
and designate the changes provided for herein.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances and Resolutions or parts thereof in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION FOUR: To satisfy the operational schedule for the parties involved with
this property, it is necessary for the public welfare, health, and safety to declare an emergency.
Therefore, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on and after its date of passage.
