A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OFA ND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
SALE DOCUMENTS FROM THE CITY OFJACKSONVILLE FOR CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN (GENERAL LOCATION -1900
GENERAL SAMUELS); AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the real property described on the attached Exhibit A is property owned
by the City of Jacksonville; and,
WHEREAS, because said property has received an acceptable Offer & Acceptance,
with a Purchaser who shall construct and locate a business, it is in the City's best interests
to sell said property. As a result, certain City officials must be authorized to develop and
execute the appropriate and required documents for the purchase of City -owned property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OFJACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT. -
SECTION ONE; The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Jacksonville,
Arkansas, are hereby authorized to execute any and all purchase documents for the real
property described in Exhibit A. The City Council recognizes and agrees that doing so will,
hopefully, benefit both the business known as Christopher Homes of Arkansas and the City.
The Council hereby authorizes Mayor Johnson, City Clerk Davitt, and City Attorney
Friedman to execute and complete the appropriate documents required to approve the
purchase and sale of the property more particularly described in Exhibit A between the City
and Christopher Homes of Arkansas, Inc.
SECTION TWO: Any and all
