AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS (GENERAL LOCATION: 1925 WEST MAIN
STREET); AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBERS 213 AND 238 AND THE LAND
USE MAP OF THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND, FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED A N D ENACTED BY THE CI T Y COUNCIL O F THE CI T Y
OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION ONE; The zone classification of the following property be and
hereby is changed as indicated below:
Property Description:
Part of the Northeast Quarter (NE1 /4), Section 25, and Part of the
Southeast Quarter (SE1 /4), Section 24, Township 3 North, Range
11 West, City of Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas, being more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast Corner of Section 25, T -3 -N, R-
11-W; thence West, 1349.00 feet; thence North, 153.7 feet to the
South Right of Way line of West Main Street; thence N 87° 18' 20" W,
along said South Right of Way line, 129.25 feet to the Point of
Beginning; thence S 02° 52' 14" W, 662.8 feet; thence N 87° 07' 46"
W, 3.33 feet; thence 5 03° 48' 17" W, 61.69 feet; thence N 87° 02'
07" W, 339.45 feet; thence N 02° 57' 37" E, 630 feet to a point of the
North line of Section 25; thence N 03° 30' 16" E, 92.88 feet to the
South Right of Way line of West Main Street; thence S 87° 18' 20" E,
along said South Right of Way line, 341.77 feet to the Point of
Beginning; Containing 5.70 acres, more or less.
Said property is hereby rezoned from classification M -1 to C -2 (General Location:
1925 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas).
SECTION TWO: The map referred to in Section No. 601 of Ordinance No.
213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238 and
designated as the official Zoning Map and Land Use Map, should be and hereby is
amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section One hereof.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage and publication, as provided by and subject to the requirements of
applicable law. n
