AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS (GENERAL LOCATION: BETWEEN SWIFT
DRIVE AND GENERAL SAMUELS ROAD); AMENDING ORDINANCE
NUMBERS 213 AND 238 AND THE LAND USE MAP OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; AND, FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following property be and
hereby is changed as indicated below:
Property Description:
Part of the South 1/2 of Section 13, T -3 -N, R -11 -W, Jacksonville,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the SW corner of Section 3, T -3 -N, R -11 -W; Thence
5 88° 19' 40" E, 1302.92 feet; Thence N 01° 02' 29" E, 1714.82 feet
to the South right -of -way line of General Samuels Road; Thence 5 88°
41' 35" E along said right -of -way line 2613.75 feet to the point of
beginning; Thence continuing along said right -of -way line S 88° 41'
35" E, 646.81 feet; Thence leaving said right -of -way line S 01° 38' 45"
W, 413.80 feet; Thence 5 82° 47' 09" W, 86.60 feet; Thence S 05°
58' 26" E, 169.74 feet; Thence S 06° 25' 35" W, 60.34 feet to the NW
corner of Lot 11 of the Marshall Road Industrial Park Subdivision as
recorded as Document No. 85 -60858 in Plat Book B, Page 675, at the
Pulaski County Courthouse; Thence S 01° 19' 15" W along the west
line of said Lot 11, 143.25 feet to the North right -of -way line of Swift
Drive; Thence N 88° 36' 45" W along said North right -of -way line,
575.00 feet; Thence leaving said right -of -way line N 01° 19' 15" E,
797.54 feet to the point of beginning, containing 11.19 acres, more
or less.
The above described property is hereby rezoned from classification M -2 to C -4.
(General Location: Property located between Swift Drive and General Samuels
Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas).
SECTION TWO: The map referred to in Section No. 601 of Ordinance No.
213 of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas, as amended by Ordinance No. 238 and
designated as the official Zoning Map and Land Use Map, should be and hereby is
amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the
changes provided for in Section One hereof.
SECTION THREE: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION FOUR: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
passage and publication, as provided by and subject to the requirements of
applicable law.
