ORDINANCE NO. 5 0 2
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 494 OF 1978; DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. (WATER COMMISSION CLARIFICATION)
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; that,
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 494 of 1978, is hereby
amended by adding a new Section 4, which reads as follows:
"That all ordinances or parts of Ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of
any such conflict."
SECTION 2: This Ordinance being necessary for the im-
mediate preservation of the public health, safety, welfare and
morale of the citizens of the City of Jacksonville, Arkansas,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and the above Ordi-
nance shall be in full force and effect immediately after its
t passage.
