AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING CERTAIN TERRITORY AS ANNEXED TO THE
CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES. (EAST WATER PLANT FACILITY, MILITARY RD)
WHEREAS, on March 17, 1978, the Pulaski County Court
approved annexation of the following described lands to the
City of Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS, that:
SECTION 1. That the following described lands are
hereby accepted as annexed to the City of Jacksonville,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
Part of Section 33, Township 3 North, Range 10
West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particu-
larly described as follows: Begin at the North-
west corner of said Section 33, Township 3 North,
Range 10 West; thence South 940.15 feet; thence
East 390 feet; thence North 670.15 feet; thence
East 318 feet; thence North 270 feet; thence
West to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace,
health, safety and welfare of this community and its citizens;
that an emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
